Grimaldi’s spring menu has fresh flavors

By Christina Fuoco-Karasinski

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is welcoming the arrival of spring with its new seasonal menu, Garden of Flavors. Available through June 7, the limited-time menu highlights the simplicity of in-season ingredients like fresh asparagus, artichokes and sweet spring peaches.

Garden of Flavors seasonal menu items:

Panzanella Salad: Rustic Tuscan chopped salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions, tossed in Grimaldi’s tangy house dressing. Served over arugula with Gorgonzola cheese, Kalamata olives and coal-fired croutons.

Bacon and asparagus pizza: Served with spicy honey, artichoke pesto pizza topped with asparagus, bacon and red onion, finished with a drizzle of red pepper-infused honey.

Banana cream cheesecake: Banana cheesecake with a Nilla Wafer crust, garnished with whipped cream and Nilla Wafers.

Caramel coconut cheesecake: Caramel cheesecake on top of an Oreo cookie crust, topped with caramel glaze and toasted coconut. Finished with a chocolate drizzle and whipped cream.

Kentucky peach mule: Buffalo Trace bourbon, peach puree and fresh lemon juice shaken and served over ice topped with Gosling’s ginger beer.

Guava margarita: Gran Centenario Anejo Tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice and guava puree, shaken and served over ice.

Peach Bellini: La Marca Prosecco and peach puree.

The menu is available for dine-in, carryout or third-party delivery. In addition to the new “Garden of Flavors” menu, Grimaldi’s added a 12-inch cauliflower pizza crust option to its everyday menu, available in 12-inch traditional, white and pesto. New additions to the everyday cocktail menu include a top-shelf margarita and a strawberry basil spritz, available year-round.
